    Alex said to me, "My sister wore clothes a year ago but then she preffered classical style. Я должен изменить на past perfect?
    Alex told me that his sister had worn a year before but then she had preferred classical style.

  • Моя сестра носила одежду год назад, а затем она предпочла классический стиль.
    Не то что-то по смыслу. А вообще на past perfect меняется.

  • He said: "My sister always wore sport clothes, but she has preferred classic style lately." He said she always had worn sport clothes, but she had preferred classic style lately. Может так лучше?
