    Здравствуйте. Пытаюсь вот решить один из демонстрационных вариантов диагностической работы по английскому языку. Вроде, всё написал более-менее правильно, однако, есть сомнения. Поэтому прошу вас проверить правильность моих ответов:

    Задание #1: Выберите один из 4 вариантов ответа и подставьте вместо пропусков. Варианты ответов записаны в скобках. Мои ответы написаны заглавными буквами.

    1. Not new books that you could (PICK, find up, take, look) in any high street bookshop.
    2. ..books which had the very smell of the (old, previous, PAST, history) on them.
    3. Peter's (gathering, COLLECTION, group, selection) of old books was huge.
