    Don't forget to capitalize the first letter in every sentence.

    "Did you receive my latest message?" -- To compose a question in the past tense, in most cases (but not all!) you begin the sentence with the helping verb "did." The subject comes next, and then the simple form of the main verb. That is, the main verb is not written with the past tense ending (usually "d" or "ed."]
